Liberation eBook Debra Dunbar

Okay, I have to admit I do not remember all of the details of this book because I thought I had already written this review. I try to always reviews Debra Dunbar books because they're always great.

This one is sort of short and somewhat fast and it's... "just another Debra Dunbar book" which is to say it is awesome. It is another piece of the Imp masterpiece. Rumor has it the Imp Series is going to end at some point in the author's foreseeable future and that will be terrible - terrible because it's an awesome series but okay because I'm sure she has something in mind to replace it.

But Liberation? Buy it, read it, enjoy it. But... if you haven't read the others in this series first, you will enjoy this one a whole lot more if you read your way up to it. It is worth the extra time!

Liberation eBook Debra Dunbar Reviews

I love that this story was so complex that it got only a brief nod in the book, and needed to be told all on it's own. Nyalla is amazing and I love hearing from her POV.
I love how brave Nyalla is getting! Facing all of her fears and coming to grips with her past. She is learning to see individuals for who they are, not lumping them all together. Too short!
A short story that lives up to the "I like it" that e defines as 4 star. Its a fun little spinoff story of the main Imp novels. Most of the character development for the characters present happened in the other novels so the attachment and meaning behind much of what happens would be lost on people who haven't read the others. Recommended for Dunbar's Imp fans.
Nyalla has mostly gotten over her fear of elves after having 41 tradesmen camped out in Sam's back pasture. When Sam's unexpected guests are kidnapped by high elves while Sam is away fighting the war in Aaru, Nyalla decides to take matters into her own hands to save them.
Can't get enough of the characters in Ms. Dunbar's books! Always a fun read with lot's of sex, action, twists, turns, surprises, and snarky remarks to make me not want to put the book down. And now, I'm off to another of her books. She is now one of my favorite author's in this genre.
It's just a fun romp. The conspiracy nut who really does wear a tinfoil hat. "Aliens" hidden in the Pentagon basement. The teleport staff. "OK you're transporting people in a horse trailer, your SUV is scorched and shot full of arrows, but I'm letting you off with a warning about that broken tail light..."
A short, fun romp set in the Imp's world. Ms. Dunbar delivers an outside the box rescue with hilarious everyday items as seen from the point of view of a changeling - in basic form a human raised by "aliens" in an alien world - with assistance from a member of the tinfoil brigade.
